We asked founders how they prepare for Web Summit and why they decided to participate in Online edition
Web Summit 2020 is going to be online and it expects to reach 100K visitors from around the world. The conference takes place on 2-4 December 2020 on Western European Time (Lisbon/London/Dublin).
FootAR is an augmented reality second screen app that empowers sports fans to enhance live smart data.
The startup team wants to change the way broadcasts are being consumed. Bringing the most of our expertise of 5 years as a software house the team felt this was the right time to create a scalable unique product using trending technologies such as Sports Analytics, 5G or Augmented Reality.
Startup Reporter (SR): – David Olim, please, tell us what do you expect from your participation in the Web Summit 2020?
David: – Enhance our network, meet investors and ultimately create our pilot with a corporate.
SR: – Who from your team is going to participate in?
David: – 3 of us will be present and will be looking forward to meet other participants in this “new normal” Online event.
SR: – What would be your advice for better preparation for Web Summit to other founders who think to participate in an online conference?
David: – Prepare earlier. Define who is your audience and engage them in a personalized way. The Copy-Paste doesn’t feel special at all even when you’re on the receiving end, right?

David: – Stay safe, above all. Let’s embrace the new normal and experience digital growth!
