We asked founders how they prepare for Web Summit and why they decided to participate in Online edition
Web Summit 2020 is going to be online and it expects to reach 100K visitors from around the world. The conference takes place on 2-4 December 2020 on Western European Time (Lisbon/London/Dublin).
Startup Reporter (SR): – Maksym Kucherenko, please, tell us what your startup is doing? Where did the idea come from and why you decided to work on it?
Maksym: – AR Builder is a mobile AR Editor. It allows for creating Instagram-like masks or complex AR projects straights on the phone in a matter of minutes.
After launch, we will have a large number of recognition systems and dozens of templates to mix.
70% of Instagram and Snapchat users activate AR lenses daily. AR filters have become a new type of self-expression. Still, AR project development is too complicated for an average user. Our competitors offer desktop-only programs with no templates and a high entry threshold for newcomers.
We decided to change it and create a fully mobile platform.
SR: – Maksym, please, tell us what do you expect from your participation in the Web Summit 2020?
Maksym: – We expect to find partnerships with AR visualization companies and raise Angel investments.
SR: – Why did you decide to participate in the Web Summit Online Edition?
Maksym: – It is the first Web Summit for us. We understand that it is a perfect event to show the product and learn from the best. All our team is going to participate in the event.
SR: – What would be your advice for better preparation for Web Summit to other founders who think to participate in an online conference?
Maksym: – Just pick up the aim of your participation and make stress on the preparations to achieve this aim.
SR: – What would you like to wish the readers?
Maksym: – Learn something new every day 🙂
