OmniShelf, a Singapore-based retail technology startup, has been crowned the Global Winner at South Summit Korea 2025, the premier AI and Deep Tech startup competition held October 1-2 in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
The second edition of South Summit Korea brought together leading entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators to showcase breakthrough technologies in artificial intelligence and deep tech sectors.
Global Winner: OmniShelf Revolutionizes Retail Shelf Management
OmniShelf secured the top prize for its innovative shelf-execution application that transforms in-store merchandising and compliance. The startup’s AI-powered platform enables:
- Real-time shelf availability optimization
- Automated planogram compliance monitoring
- Operational efficiency improvements for retail stores
- Remote performance tracking for retail headquarters
The application allows stores to instantly compare their current shelf setup with intended layouts, while giving corporate teams visibility into store-level performance metrics.

Most Disruptive Startup: Kreios Space
Kreios Space, a Galician startup from Spain, received the Most Disruptive Startup award for pioneering the aerospace industry’s first fuel-free electric propulsion system for satellites. Their groundbreaking technology uses atmospheric gases as propellant, eliminating traditional fuel requirements and representing a major innovation in satellite propulsion systems.
Best Team: Ochy
French startup Ochy won the Best Team award for its AI-powered biomechanical running analysis platform, demonstrating exceptional collaboration and execution in the sports technology sector.
Most Scalable Startup: cheqd
UK-based cheqd was recognised as the Most Scalable Startup for developing blockchain-based verifiable credentials that build trust in AI and data systems, addressing critical needs in the growing AI authentication market.
