Positioned as an elite member within the NVIDIA Partner Network, UK-centric NexGen Cloud is earmarking an impressive $1 billion investment to erect its AI Supercloud infrastructure in Europe, with an initial commitment of $576 million already channelled into hardware procurement from select suppliers.

This groundbreaking AI Supercloud is envisioned as a bespoke, compute-intensive bastion catering to the difficulties of Europe’s tech enterprises, institutions, and governments. Its primary mandate is facilitating the execution of intricate AI applications and research endeavours, all meticulously aligned with European jurisdictional nuances and stringent privacy statutes.

Scheduled for rollout commencement in October 2023, the AI Supercloud seeks to satiate the spiralling demand for accelerated computing, galvanized by the technology sector’s burgeoning fascination with generative AI and other facets of artificial intelligence, poised to galvanize innovation and augment operational efficiencies.

A pivotal aspect of its charter is to democratize regional, cost-effective access to GPU cloud services, ensuring that European enterprises and burgeoning startups can harness the transformative potential of these services.

In a nod to ecological prudence, NexGen Cloud’s AI Supercloud services will emanate from European data centres exclusively powered by 100% renewable energy sources. These services are tailored to address a spectrum of industries, spanning healthcare, finance, and media and entertainment.

Anticipated to burgeon to over 20,000 NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs by June 2024, the European AI Supercloud positions itself as a crucible for enterprises, providing a gateway to one of the planet’s most potent GPU-accelerated ecosystems.
