Italian Trade Agency brought Italian startups at Slush 2021

As part of the promotional activities supporting Italian startups, The Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Helsinki, organized participation of 10 Italian startups in the Slush 2021 edition, which took place in Helsinki from 1 to 2 December 2021.

Slush 2021 attracted around 8800 visitors and 1800 startups from numerous countries to the Finnish capital, thus confirming its role as a privileged platform for high-tech innovation.

Thanks to the support by Stockholm Italian Trade Agency (ICE) Office, 10 Italian startups had a dedicated space at Slush to show their solutions and meet participants.

The space hosted ten Italian startups operating in various fields ranging from agri-food innovation to environmental sustainability, personal data protection to artificial intelligence, and the proposal of innovative solutions for the health sector.

Slush 2021 attracted around 8800 visitors and 1800 startups from numerous countries to the Finnish capital, thus confirming its role as a privileged platform for high-tech innovation.

Furthermore, on the eve of the Slush opening, a reception for Italian startups was organized at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Finland, with broad participation of investors, exponents of the information world and entrepreneurs interested in interacting with the actors of the Italian innovation system.

With clients such as Peroni, the Italian Rugby Federation, National Geographic, Arena di Verona, Unicredit, the immediate commercial success suffered a heavy setback with the covid. Still gritting its teeth, the company lay the foundation for a big summer season 2022.

The participation of PCUP at Slush 2021 is the first step in the internationalization of the product. Thanks to the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), the first institutional, commercial and investor relations were created on the Nordic markets, more mature in terms of digitization and sustainability – the two pillars on which the company is founded.
