Investors showed trust in Prosperty, the pioneering online platform that promises to change the way people buy and sell property, by providing complete innovative digital solutions and process automation together with transparency and professionalism at competitive costs. Prosperty secured €1.1 M seed funding from the Funds “Velocity.Partners” and “Metavallon” as well as from angel investors.

“Over the last few years, the property market in Greece and in other similar countries is growing and attracting investors. However, despite the blooming market, buying, selling and renting property comes with complicated and time-consuming procedures with almost no technology applied. This leads to an overall poor experience for those involved.

Prosperty addresses the technological stagnation of the real estate market by launching an innovative platform, theprosperty.com. The platform makes a difference by offering an experience based on reliable data, rich content, transparency, efficiency and digitization.

It develops modern technologies and datasets to make transactions easier, to secure trust between those involved in a property selling, to upgrade their experience and to finally boost the market as a whole.

We are extremely happy and proud that important investors recognized the innovation and prospect in our project and showed us trust to implement it in Greece and abroad”.

Prosperty CEO, Antonis Markopoulos said

Having secured seed funding, the Company is about to launch the platform on which a big number of properties will gradually be available for purchase or rent.

Prosperty co-founders, Antonis Markopoulos, Nikos Patsiogiannis and Antonis Despotakis talk about an entirely new integrated and reliable experience in real estate management, with only fully audited property available, 3d assisted presentations and virtual tours, digitalization of property identification documents and online services regarding technical, legal and notary procedures required for the completion of property selling and renting.

In addition, the platform offers full promotional services making the properties listed effectively visible in both Greece and abroad to both private buyers and investors.

“Prosperty fulfils all of our criteria when deciding investment in a new project. Excellent team, clear business focus, exploitation of technology and activation in a transforming market that creates new exciting opportunities. Especially in the post-COVID-19 era, the Prosperty platform makes a perfect tool for both sellers and buyers allowing them to manage online most, if not all, of the steps required in buying/selling property, without any physical contact. In addition, its network of partnerships that are constantly expanding makes easier the link between readily available property and foreign buyers that seek to buy a property through a one-stop-shop process.”

Achilleas Petropoulos, Operating Partner at Velocity.Partners said

“Our involvement in one of the biggest seed financing rounds for an entirely Greek startup demonstrates our trust in the vision and capacity of the Prosperty team to lead the development of the real estate sector in Greece.

The fully digitalized process on the Prosperty platform offers owners the ability to present their properties in the utmost professional manner and to negotiate directly with prospective buyers and renters, in full transparency, to reach the best possible deal in considerably less time compared to existing market standards.

The digital transformation that is currently changing Greece will help in validating Property’s business model, opening the way for its quick expansion to foreign markets as early as in 2021’’.
