Italian company Bending Spoons launches a coding competition at European level – Codeflows

From today until November 1, European coding lovers can apply to enter Codeflows, a new programming contest. The contest is sponsored by Italian app developer Bending Spoons—among the top ten best midsize places to work in Europe, according to the Great Place to Work Institute

The competition consists of three rounds and awards a total of €40,000 in prize money.

After submitting an application, participants receive a link to access the first round of online challenges. The second round, which also takes place online, occurs on December 12, while the finals take place in Milan on January 30 2021, if the current epidemic allows it, or online if a physical event isn’t possible.

Who can apply? Anyone aged 18 or older who is European or who works in a European country.

What’s up for grabs? The forty finalists compete for a prize pool which totals €40,000. The winner receives €15,000, while the runner-up is awarded €10,000 and the third-placed finisher receives €5,000. All the other finalists get €250.
