B4i – Bocconi for innovation Startup Call is open until the 9th of January 2022, giving aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to access pre-acceleration and acceleration programs offered by Bocconi University to develop their business projects.
B4i is an initiative of Bocconi University that acts as a catalyst for the most innovative and high potential ideas and startups in the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Building on the business school’s unique experience, know-how, and legacy of our business school, B4i aims at promoting entrepreneurial culture, encouraging and supporting innovative startups, and developing innovation within companies.
The pre-acceleration program includes 11 training sessions over three months, with the aim of understanding and applying the main concepts useful for validating a business idea.
Sessions, in the format of practical training and lectures, will cover different aspects of starting up a business, from customer discovery and market assessment to business model and MVP design, operations and financial planning. While attending the program, entrepreneurs will be supported by a dedicated mentor and have access to legal support and dedicated perks.
Participation is free of charge and compatible with academic or professional commitments, with sessions organized on Saturday mornings to ensure the flexibility to test your idea without necessarily having to devote full-time to the project.
The acceleration path is a four-month program involving an investment of €30.000 and support by the acceleration team in structuring the company, defining the product, completing the team and ultimately fundraising.
Entrepreneurs will be expected to dedicate a full-time effort to the program, through which we’ll help them define their product, complete the team, connect to industry experts and advisors, and ultimately fundraise.
Admission to the program also offers access to a network of services instrumental for the rapid development of a startup, ranging from digital marketing support to legal clinics, up to benefits granted by external providers (cloud storage, talent sourcing, CRM, analytics, etc.), as well as a coworking space on campus.
The three areas of specialization of B4i – Bocconi for innovation are Digital Tech, coordinated by Massimo Della Ragione, Sustainability led by Stefano Pogutz and Made in Italy followed by Gabriella Lojacono.
It will be possible to learn more about the structure of the programs and ask questions to the B4i team during the dedicated webinar, scheduled for Friday December 17th at 4pm (registration here)
