TechChill adds fuel to the founder fire – with a founder-first program
TechChill will return to its original time slot in February – as everyone knows, the hottest tech deals happen in the coldest and most miserable month of the year in Riga, Latvia, where the event is held annually.
This year, TechChill, which will be held on Feb. 5-7, 2025, will stoke the fire of founderhood with a program focused on the practicalities of running a startup.
This year’s program is dedicated to giving founders what they need to thrive. There will be three main pillars, each focusing on the most important aspects of a startup – people, business, and technology.
We’re returning to our roots – and not only by having the event in February and putting the chill back into TechChill. We spoke to countless founders about why they came to TechChill and what they need most to thrive.
The answer was unanimous – they needed fewer inspirational talks, and more guidance based on real-life experience. We’ve always been here to support Baltic founders first and foremost, and the TechChill 2025 program reflects that.
– Annija Mežgaile, CEO of TechChill
Each of the program pillars is designed to fuel startup growth:
- People – this track breaks down the human-centric challenge of leading and growing a startup. From leadership and company culture, to mental resilience and well-being.
- Business – a focus on money moves. From investor relations and negotiating term sheets, to data-driven marketing and optimizing sales funnels.
- Technology – diving into the software and hardware that is the startup’s secret sauce. How to build to scale, the practicalities of pivoting, keeping the code clean, and bridging the gap from developer to CTO.
This year’s initial speakers have already been announced, and include Heli Koskimäki, Senior Director, Future Physiology at Oura, Iris Parra, Co-founder & Director at Enlaza, Marijus Plančiūnas, CEO at Paysera LT, Antoine Bordes, Vice President AI at Helsing. David Hooker, Director of Brand at Printify (recently merged with Printful).
