Romanian Proptech Startup VAUNT Joins Catalyst NYC 2025 Accelerator

VAUNT, a fast-growing Romanian proptech startup transforming residential real estate sales management, has been selected to join the Catalyst NYC 2025 Accelerator.

The programme, part of NYU Tandon Future Labs, supports high-potential early-stage startups entering or expanding within the US market.

VAUNT is one of only sixteen companies accepted into this year’s cohort and is using the programme as a strategic launchpad for its US go-to-market and scaling plans.

A Launchpad for Global Growth

Catalyst NYC is renowned for accelerating startups in sectors like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Smart Cities, and HealthTech. Since inception, it has supported over 470 startups, which collectively raised €4.9 billion in funding and achieved 57 exits.

Startups accepted into the 6-month programme gain access to:

  • Expert mentorship and learning sessions
  • NYU resources and connections
  • Over €325,000 in partner benefits, including support from Amazon and Google
  • Workspace at the Data Future Lab in Brooklyn

A Startup Born from Real-World Needs

VAUNT’s journey began with a custom ERP project for a residential real estate developer in Romania. Co-founders Irina Constantin and Razvan Mitre identified a major gap in how sales teams navigated their day-to-day operations. Sales reps were juggling everything from marketing to site visits without a system that reflected their workflow.

Recognising the need for an integrated tool, the founders created VAUNT—a platform built with deep insight into how real estate professionals work, even incorporating gamified elements to boost engagement.

From day one, VAUNT was designed to scale globally. The team bootstrapped the business, achieved profitability early on, and landed its first paying clients without external investment. Innovative marketing strategies—like highly targeted €3 Facebook campaigns—helped build traction in a competitive market.

Scaling a Real Estate SaaS Success

Founded officially in 2020, VAUNT has since grown into a robust sales management platform for the residential real estate market. It enables developers and agents to manage the entire sales pipeline—from marketing and negotiations to transaction closing and reporting.

More than 70 clients in Romania have used VAUNT to close over €488 million in real estate transactions in 2024 alone. The platform integrates CRM and financial modules, featuring AI-driven enhancements that boost performance for sales and marketing teams. Today, it supports over 20,000 assets across its customer base.

In December 2024, the team brought on strategic advisor Shijo (Joe) Mathew, whose experience and insights are helping guide VAUNT’s entry into the US market. With a subsidiary already established in New York, VAUNT is actively building an international team and exploring investment opportunities.
