German startup Framence wins award “Most Advanced Digital Twin”

Framence, a provider of photorealistic digital twins of industrial facilities, received the “Most Advanced Digital Twin” award at the World of Digital Built Environment conference. The conference was held on September 19 & 20 in Tallinn, Estonia, and Helsinki, Finland.

Framence is a pioneer in developing photorealistic digital twins for buildings and industrial environments. Framence’s technology enables companies to create highly accurate digital twins of technical assets and entire technical environments.

The annual World of Digital Built Environment conference was held for the sixth time and is sponsored by the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers (RIL), the Estonian and Finnish Ministries of the Environment, the Estonian Digital Construction Cluster, the association for sustainable urbanisation Bloxhub, and the European Union. The two-day event provides a comprehensive overview of the most important current events and solutions in digitising existing buildings and industrial facilities.

This year’s focus was on environmental protection. Framence participated in the conference with a presentation on the benefits of digital twins for optimising business processes and increasing resource efficiency, which reduces companies’ environmental footprint.

During the conference, awards were presented in a total of six categories. The Germany-based company emerged as the winner in the category “Most Advanced Digital Twin”.
